Team X and Epsilon will represent Europe at the ProGamer League (PGL) Summer Finals, the event's organisers have announced.
Running from July 22-24 at the Optics Valley Stadium, in Wuhan, PGL Summer will see eight teams battle it out for their share of a $100,000 prize pool - one of the biggest prize funds in Asian Counter-Strike.
Formerly known as SK Gaming, Team X made headlines at the start of the month as they were disqualified from ELEAGUE as a result of being dropped by the organisation, who could no longer field the five players who had been submitted at the start of the season.
The Danish team will be attending the event with Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, who has been playing for the squad following the departure of Asger "AcilioN" Larsen to North American side Splyce.
Friis' Team X to attend Chinese event
Epsilon were recently in action at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer 2016, where they knocked HellRaisers out of the tournament before losing out to Ninjas in Pyjamas in the group's decider match.
The Nordic duo will be joined by six Chinese teams, including Spring champions TyLoo, at the PGL event, which will kick off with a round-robin group stage, followed by a single-elimination bracket.
The list of participants for the Chinese event currently looks as follows:
