NRG's Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of cs_summit 3 by HLTV.org and betway.
The 20-year-old claimed the award after averaging a tournament-high 1.34 rating in NRG's undefeated run at the Summit House.
Brehze, who was NRG's top performer in their victories against Ghost and HEROIC, had 1.20+ ratings in seven of his team's 11 games, capping off a fantastic run with a 2.13 rating against OpTic on Mirage.
The North American talent saw off competition from René "cajunb" Borg, the only OpTic player who ended the final with an above-average rating, and Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke for the MVP medal - the first of his career.
Brehze led five stats charts besides rating, including KDD (+78), kills per round (0.87) and KAST (75.3%), and was featured in the leaderboard in five other categories.
The MVP distinction comes just weeks after the player earned Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVPs) nods at ESL One New York and StarSeries i-League Season 6. He is the most in-form player on NRG at the moment, boasting a 1.19 rating on LAN in the last three months.
